Tiffany Qiu (b. 2001) is an Irish-Chinese pianist currently studying on scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music, London, with Professors Ian Fountain, Michael Dussek and Dr Ruth Byrchmore.

In recent years, Tiffany has won many prizes both nationally and internationally, and has appeared as a soloist with orchestras under the batons of Uri Segal, Paolo Ponziano Ciardi, James Cavanagh and Finghin Collins. She has also enjoyed performing in venues such as the Basilica di San Pietro (Italy), Carnegie Hall (with the New York Sinfonietta) and the National Concert Hall of Ireland. As a composer, her works include pieces for voice and piano, choir, string quartet and piano trio.

In 2020, Tiffany organised a project entitled ‘Beethoven 250: New Beethoven-Inspired works by Young Composers’ in honour of the great master’s 250th anniversary. It involved a collaboration between eleven pianists and eleven composers from all over the world and saw the premiere of all the works as well as an album being released at the end of the year.

Tiffany is generously supported by the Winifred Christie Trust and Irish Heritage.
