2011 PROGRAMME

The 2011 Festival is a series of classical concerts using two pianos, and we have engaged three international duos.  In addition, our Artistic Director, Finghin Collins, will be playing, and Fiachra Garvey, one of Ireland's up and coming young performers will give a solo recital.  
Barry McGovern is the narrator in the performances of "Carnival of the Animals" which are taking place three times on the Friday, in partnership with the NCH's "Learn and Explore" programme.
Downtown, Des Manahan will be playing in the Courtyard of St Michael's Theatre lunchtime on Friday and on Saturday from 1.30 till 2.30 and again at teatime, 3.30 to 4.30pm  There are also "Play Me" pianos for the public to have a go on, placed in odd places round the town.
